Why are they nerfing enigma and nightfall instead of the bows?

Probably because nightfall can do it faster? Bow requires you to time the shots, nightfall is push F BRRRRR. Takes 10 seconds to do over 100k damage. So if you want to be technical, it would take far less time to kill the final boss with the old nightfall build/damage.

Show me you beating the final boss in apocalypse with the nightfall under that time then.

Ain't even fought the final boss on apoc haha, I am a status build, my friend however is a nightfall build and he isn't happy about the patch. I've watched him in the shooting range easily hitting 75-80k in 10 seconds and even he thought those numbers were stupid. When you have the right traits/rings/amulets and mutators, it goes even higher.

Bows are single shot, require good aim because if you miss or don't hit weakspot your dps goes down the drain.

Nightfall using the mod was fully automatic, infinite ammo during duration, and has LS incase you somehow get hit.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Summoner archetype/Anastasija's ring yet, afk for awhile and your summons do absurd damage unless that was fixed.

The summons thing was a bug and was fixed.

Show me anyone beating the boss faster using the nightfall then, does the nightfall have auto aiming or heat seeking ammo? Last time I checked it was super hard to hit the last boss with any weapon because he moves so fast.

Say what? The last boss does NOT move fast and has the biggest weapoint in the entire game. He will quite literally put his head against the barrel of your gun at times. In the last phase, he doesn't move at all lol.

wait.. did you just pull up a mega specific build and player, look at what seems like high skill game play with a mega niche set up and say "This needs nerfs! pew gun doesnt!" pew gun is powerful WITH EVERY BUILD. bow takes specific build and set up.

yeah, in that video its definitely overperforming but its not on the same level as either pew guns that got the big N.

Probably because Enigma far out-performed everything.
Does that mean everything else was bad? In this context, no.

Enigma had good damage, range, and good crowd control. It was a literal case of "Why pick anything else".
