However, the cube in question (back right from the point you enter, right? Touches the same path as the one coming towards you first?) IS shootable if you go on the right side. However its only available for a single turn, which leads to death quite a bit.
However, there actually IS one other way to do it. During the rotation as it goes into the wall, you can shoot at the gap with an auto gun and hit the spot.
I completely agree though, a "hidden" pathway is no excuse to a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ spot.
You can tell which cubes still have spots based on if they are glowing or not.
The issue is the last cube NOT SHOWING AT ALL. I just saw a video, where he shot the last cube(same cube as I was talking about. But in this guy's run, it shows it's crystal to him. While in my situation, It does not. I've stood in that place several times. He shows the crystal only to the left wall.

That is how I did it, never even found that secret path to take one out but that will be nice for next time.
Basically just go left when you go in and you can take 80% out right there just staying safe as it rolls over you twice then move up a bit and do the same. Eventually jump across hole and take last few out.
This was a challenging part but it was pretty memorable.
Exactly!! what a refreshing change for people who like puzzles instead of slogfest bossfights.
You can say that about any boss though. I despise having to go up against that stupid slime boss in the Great Sewers. It's a boring fight that is less difficult and more frustrating.
You can also say the same about any puzzle in the environment. Once you've worked it out, they aren't much fun to do again.
At least the Sentinel is pretty fast once you know how to do it.
