Calamity mob farm not working

So I just defeated Moon Lord in Calamity and wanted to farm for money in my mob farm, but enemies are spawning outside the farm rather than inside, the farm is meant to be the size of the area that mobs spawn around the player, I placed some temple traps to help deal with bats, that is the only change I made, it used to work perfectly in the past, the design is the same one that Happy Days did in his video. Does anyone know why are mobs spawning outside the farm? because I don't know if it is a Calamity thing that's ruining the farm (pardon my english)

my suggestion is to put walls where the enemies are spawning to prevent spawns there or just fill it in with blocks
