tmodloader sound is broken (update)

so i recently wanted to play modded terraria again but when i open the game it doesnt have any sounds, i tried to fix the files, and change the settings but its still the same, any help?

update: i reinstalled tmod and also uninstalled all of the mods, but the game sounds are still broken

i don't know if you're having the same issue but when i unplug my audio device after entering tmodloader the sound goes completely silent
