Lion fish not spawing (Terraria Calamity Infernum)

can anyone help, struggling to get the lion fish, most recent mile stone is skelletron, yet to defeat deerclops or slime gods, everywhere I look doesn't give me a definitive answer and lionfish aren't spawning in my sulphurous sea, ive tried using potions and blood moon to up spawn rates and I cant find one, I know you can use sulphurous crates but they don't work till post slime god, any ideas?

This is a drop from a hostile mob, called... the lionfish. It is quite common in the first and second regions of the Abyss, and rushes up and dashes into the player or any other fish. The drop rate seems to be roughly 3 in 10 from what I got.

I know it drops from the lionfish, what im saying is none are spawning

you can still get lionfish from sulphurous crates, have you been going to deeper levels of the abyss to see if they spawn?

as far as I am aware some of these issues where patched in another mod called infernum multiplayer patch or something like that, even issues that persisted in singleplayer get fixed
