Quick stack dupe glitch
So I have been playing with a friend and when we quick stack to nearby chests, the items don't disappear from our inventory but they do get stacked, essentially duping the items.
Any idea why this is happening and how to fix it?
Our mods are:
- absoluteAquarian
- Magic Storage
- Recipe Browser
- AlchemistNPC Lite
- Boss Checklist
- Calamity
- Calamity Mod Music
- Ore Excavator
- Boss Cursor

Right click tModLoader in your Library > Properties > Installed Files > Verify integrity of game files

I had the same issue and it was due to the steam workshop downloading an outdated version of the mod. If the issue persists it might be due to mods in the Documents/My Games/Terraria/tModLoader/Mods/ folder (for 1.4.4) or the Documents/My Games/Terraria/tModLoader-1.4.3/Mods/ folder (for 1.4.3)

If you check those and see a MagicStorage.tmod delete it, that will prevent the override when you verify the files. (Since the one in the Mods folder there is a manual installation)

I have the same problem with basically the same mods :/

With some more testing around I have found that it only dupes in multiplayer, with shared chests. It works perfectly fine in Singleplayer and with the piggybank or any other user-restricted storages. Quick stacking every individual chest seems to work just fine but that is tedious.
