If that the case maybe the mods become incompatible with the new tmodloader, but if the update was yesterday (12 hours before) i didn''t get any problems, since im currently playing with calamity with a friend.
For most users, the transition between versions can be quite jarring, but don't fret! Everything you're experiencing is normal.
Most mods are not ported to the 1.4.4 version of tModLoader, as it's still a preview version and has the capability of being unstable. Thus, any mods you previously had that were updated to 1.4.3 will not show up in your directory. This doesn't mean that they're gone, however, as switching back to 1.4.3 will bring them back. If you want to switch back, simply:
- if installing manually: install a previous version
- if through steam: swap to the 1.4.3 version by selecting "None" in the "Beta"s tab of the Properties screen.
If, by some intrigue, you are not playing on the 1.4.3 version, you are instructed to head over to https://discord.gg/tmodloader immediately to get further assistance.
Hope this helps!
See you space cowboy...
