Can mods from normal Terraria be used in TmodLoader?

There are some mods on the workshop for normal Terraria [1] Im interested in but there are no mods like this on TmodLoader workshop [2]. Can I somehow downlod mod from 1 and use it in 2?

if you are talking about the texture packs stuff yes. You simply download it for terraria, then in tmodloader, open up texture packs and you can enable it.

I know this is old by now but when i do this the textures keep trying to load but never do
