Why is quick trash still in the game

Title. Is just dedicated to button for accidentally perma deleting valuable items.

you dont really accidentally do it you gotta do it carefully item through item and decide if it is useful or not

ctrl is button for moving items in video games. I press ctrl to move two items into chest. One gets deleted. If I try to move 5 4 get deleted. If i try to move 10 i will delete 9 items if i dont remember that terraria of all games has a button dedicated for trash that is binded to button others use for quick moving items.

Its worse than using esdf rather than wasd.

Actually because that blocks you from quick moving items into chest via clicking I assumed I was pressing the correct button then I unfavorited them and deleted my items.

you do this in the keybinds menu, setting the keybind to be exactly what it already is. doing this will remove it.

The reason i didnt think it existed despite forums saying so via search engine is the fact its just not in the settings while ingame only in the main menu.
