Can't join friend to play

I join my friend and its stuck on the joining screen and I can't do anything after, if I cancel I have to full restart my game to try to join again

Same for me, we could play together yesterday and now we can't play together anymore.

yeah but like my friend put a password but idk why it never said to me to enter a password so like idk if my friend doing is thing correctly but still dosen't work

Been happening to me too, even gets to the point where it refuses to even let him hit Join in the Join Friend Via Steam thing, just keeps sending me back to the Join Options menu and refuses to connect

I have found a semi fix I restart my pc after trying to join once or twice and it works

I tried to do that, it worked before but yesterday night it just kept happening no matter how much I tried to do that

I've been having this issue too, we tried joining in the regular Terraria and Tmodloader and it wouldn't allow us to join either person. we tried joining through Steam and through IP and nothing still, this just happened out of the blue a couple of days ago. Still experimenting on to see what is going on.
