If you're installing an old wavebank then your Vanilla Terraria won't have the extra music that came with Journey's End, however.
Also, if Vanilla Terraria updates, you'll have to put your custom wavebank in there again. Hope this helps!
1) The Wavebank must have 89 files or whatever the current sound track is. [Just because files are available in the workshop, doesn't mean they have all the required files, you must check yourself.)
2) It has to be set to streaming when creating it, or repacking it, or you will experience infinite loading/crashing/perma mute.
3) The names of the tracks need to be correct.
Just took 2 hours to figure all this out because of how much of a convoluted mess wavebanks are after the 1.4x updates.
In short, what was said above, you must update your ORIGINAL Terr, wavebank via replacement method in order for it to effect your Tmodloader. I have no idea why the mods would make it work like this, but I'm no game dev, so what do I know?
To anyone that needs a program to do it, there was someone nice enough to share/create something called "quick wave bank." A google search should help you find it. Have fun in your future modded playthrough(s)
