my Calamity revengeance master mode eye of cthulhu boss has more attacks than seen in videos

so basically i'm starting a new calamity character on revengeance master mode but from what i see on videos the eye of cthulhu is not that fast or dangerous and can be beaten quite easely but in my case i think the eye of cthulhu is way faster than what i see in the video on revengeance master mode and mine in second phase send projectiles and much more
did the eye receive an update very recently because i watched throarbin video of january and his is supposed to be revengeance master mode but his doesnt feature red blood laser like projectiles, its making the fight near impossible for the kind of equipment that is available at this stage
