I can't go to hardmod in Calamity

The game just crashes when I kill the wall of flesh. Help me pls!!!

Enable only calamity and the Cheat Sheet mod. Then go into your world and go to the underworld. Use the god mode tool to be invulnerable. Then spawn the Wall of Flesh with the NPC spawner, after that use the butcher tool to kill it and re-enable all the other mods you had on before disabling them. I suggest making them into a modpack before attempting this "fix".

thats cheating, and i think it would still crash the game

not really cheating, if you are able to beat wof but he crashes it then it should be fine to just enable cheat sheet and kill him.

I had the same issue a while back. I had a lot of content mods paired with Calamity, and the issue was one of them was interfering with the astral infection biome generating after WoF. I deleted a lot of bloat mods and it was fixed, so unfortunately I can't tell you which mod was causing the issue.
Seems like a lot of mods have been causing compatibility issues lately, even after culling a huge portion of my mod list, I can't even fight Infermun DoG without him despawning on phase 2
