Oh, i have enought movement room, its a 1000 wide, and 6 platform high arena, and i have fargos, so i have 30 of every potion i can get at the moment, i was just struggleing on 2 attacks, once i leared that shes about not panicic (I panicked a ton, causing me to ram into attacks) i won, it was VERY helpfull to learn i could just stand still in her lazer attack.
There should be a hotkey in the controls which overrides the double-tap for dashes. So if you ever panic, you won't panic dodge into danger by tapping your movement keys.
Good luck with the rest of your playthrough! Infernum is definitely a tough cookie lol
Oh, i didnt mean LITERAL ram, i ment like walk into, im good with not accedentaly dashing, i acctualt struggle to dash,
Also, FYI i never even beat expert mode, so this is even harder on me, but im noticing things cool off the more i play, it feels i have gotten better, i just dont like how i have forced a pause strat to dodge 80% of the attacks.
The point of infernum is to memorize patterns. It's not random, the queen slime cycles between spawning an arc of crystals before attempting to land on you, spawning light beams in a crisscross pattern on top of you, dropping orbs of slime while the crown circles around you and shoots crystal projectiles at you and dropping a row of slimes that either spawn crystal shards or bounce back up.
It switches between these 5 attacks in this order, and when you get it to half health, it produces a death beam and spawns projectiles along the horizontal axis before making its previous 5 attacks more aggressive.
When you reduce its health down low enough past that point, it performs the same death beam attack again before becoming further aggravated.
The trick for the more aggressive attacks such as the light beams and falling gel + crown projectiles is to stop focusing on her and instead focus purely on dodging the attacks. Using a summoner class helps with this, because your summons will attack the boss for you.
