Cursor is gone for me except for the legacy 1.3 version
I started playing terraria mods again recently and when playing the normal tmodloader version my cursor disappears and it's not invisible either, i cannot use it at all anymore. Tried using the 1.3 legacy version and the cursor works there normally so as of now all i can do is play mods on 1.3 but i still kind of want to play on the current version too if possible. If anyone knows this and knows a solution please help. (not sure if the information is useful but for some reason the menu on the newer version shows controller buttons even though my computer never even had a controller connected to it, maybe the game thinks i'd be playing with a controller and blocks the mouse? I can still move around a bit with the keyboard though and enter my worlds but still how am i supposed to mine and stuff without a mouse?)

Try reproducing the bug and checking C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\tModLoader\tModLoader-Logs\client.txt
Scroll to the bottom and look for silent exceptions

Mods can sometimes break when they get unexpected values and that sometimes cascades into other, seemingly random stuff. It's fixed when you go into 1.3 because those are (probably) different or older mods

I did look at the mods i've downloaded in the current tmodloader version with only my keyboard but it didn't show any mods at all even though i did have a few mods downloaded back then but for some reason those are all gone too (not sure if i deleted them myself or if they disappeared without me doing anything back then) but as of now i don't think i have any mods in the current version installed (in the 1.3 i still have a few mods downloaded though). I will take a look at those files later too, if i find out anything there i'll let you know!
Go into tmodloader setting on main menu and disable controller prompts (called gamepad instuctions in the terraria settings. OR look at the mods configs and see if they have controller prompts on. Go trough them all and the game settings to.
