Calamity mod Lags

I know that the subject has been raised many times, but I haven't found a solution yet. I have a good computer but I get constant lags in Calamity mod when I fight a boss or do an event. In multiplayer the lags are even worse. Changing the settings has not helped. If I have frame skip on then my FPS drops very low, and if I have it on subtle or off then I play in slow motion. Anti lag mods or synchronization mods don't help either. My friends don't have the problem, even though they have a PC as powerful as mine.

My PC specs:
Graphics card: NVIDIA RTX 2070
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X
32 GB Ram
Tmodloader is on a M2 SSD

Deactivating Infernum, BossChecklist and CoolerItemVisualEffects doesnt make any difference.
The lags started to happen after 1.4 came out.
I hope that someone can help me, thank you very much for your time.

Your computer should be more than able to handle it. Have you tried literally just running with calamity? You stated you deactivated 3 mods and it didn't cause an issue yet you're running a lot more than just the base calamity mod so you aren't even making sure it is that specific mod itself and not actually the interactions it is having with any other mods.

I run three mods, level+/calamity/calamity flamethrowers and have zero issues so it could be that one or more of your mods isn't interacting well or is just causing a longer processing delay due to added functions constantly pooling.

Yeah so i removed Stars above and it fixed like 3 or 4 fps. My friends doesnt have any fps issues like me, and they have the same pc power as mine. so something specifficly with my PC is wrong but i can not figure out what. Resetting my pc wont work, because i did it a couple of days ago already.

The same thing is happening with me who ever is hosting is fine but whoever joins its just really laggy

when i played in tmod 1.4.3 the game used to run well but in 1.4.4 the framerate is low and the problem is that my gpu is not being fully utilized

it's like having many heavy mods cause an engine limitation or the game can't use multiple cores

Yeah same for me. The mods in the Discord server wont help either, i hope this gets fixed soon.

1.4.4 is a bad update and continues to be bad. I’m posting this on every thread where I see that the game works fine on 1.4.3 but became bad after 1.4.4.

It’s the music specifically, however the mod creators or tmodloader themselves handles custom/mod music has changed.
I’ve tried on a Steam deck, a Lenovo legion go and my main PC.
I have a 2090, 32 gigs of ram and a i9.

There is absolutely no ungodly reason that 1.4.3 runs like butter and 1.4.4 runs terribly if you try and use any popular(good) mod with custom music (which is nearly all of them)

if you remove the calamity music mod would it fix it then?

Idk about yall but since i played Calamity for the first time i always experimented issues with performance, i do believe it's related to a limitation from the game itself (since you can't even reach 8GB of RAM usage or even 50% CPU/GPU). However i havent upgraded it for over 7 years so that should be taken note of too, currently using: Ryzen 5 1600x, GTX 1650S, 16GB RAM.

And before someone ask i have my OS, Steam, Tmod and Terraria on the same SSD
