start legendary mode + calamity?

Ive been wanting a bigger challenge but cant seem to activate a legendary map when using mods. Ive used the seeds and I've also used the legendary button on one of the mods that makes parts of seeds. The map just doesnt change, as far as I can tell the only difference is how strong normal enemies get

bro, in theory, depending on the complexity, only the strength of mobs changes
but mb i don't understand "legendary map"

I mean the legendary map from the seed that makes the gamemode legendary instead of master. the seed is supposed to make lava spawn closer to the surface and stuff like that, but my map doesnt change at all

Yea I tried a bunch of different ways, including what it says on wiki. Also tried a mod that has it as an option like I said, but it didn't work either, and the mod one is the only one that actually changed the difficulty of the enemies. None of them even did the correct loading screen or made the tree look different to indicate a special seed
