Tmodloader not letting me type anything

Whenever I try to type in a character/world name, recipe, mod title none of the keys work. This is only a problem with tmodloader, I tried it on terraria and it worked fine. I've tried reinstalling and verifying files but neither have worked. Has anyone else experienced this problem, and how would I go about fixing it?

Edit: my backspace and enter work, just not the rest of the keys?

Same for me now I am locked out of my pc because I can’t even type my password
Edit- just found out the solution shutdown your computer and wait for around a minute and it should fix the problem, hope this helps
