I lost my character by migrating another character

I played with a character on a world modded with the Calamity mod (v2.0.2.3) with tmodloader (v2022.9.47), when I wanted to migrate my old characters, but when I got one of my old characters back, I lost the character I was playing with at the moment with 40h. Is there a solution?

Make copies if you’re going to migrate characters.

Also, check your recycling bin and player files for any backups. If there are any, simple rename the file and remove the “.bak” from the end.

There is indeed a file with the name of my character in my recycling, where should I move it please?
Modification : There is two files one with .plr.bak and one with only .plr

i see two file with the name of my character in my recycling and in my Player files, one is Pino2.plr and one is Pino2.plr.bak. I don't want to do something wrong, what should I do?

Okay, i move a file with .tplr in my backup and i recover my items, i lost my bonus of life and mana, but it's easy to recover. Thank you so much for the help, i had no idea what to do, nor any clue, it's thanks to you that I got my character back.
