Calamity bad FPS?

I used to have okay fps in calamity now it is bad. When I'm walking around and stuff I have 70-100 fps, but when I go to abyss or the sunken sea my fps drops. In abyss it goes to around 60 and at the final layer its goes to like 55 and when I fight adult eidolin wyrm its worse. Also when devouerer of gods does the grid attack my fps drops.

Hey there!

One of two issues:

One: Terraria itself is the issue, being known for straining itself despite hardware. If this is the case, there isn’t much you can do to negate it, unfortunately.

Two: Calamity has some sort of issue revolving around the Abyss biome. If this is the case, it’s advised to head over to the Calamity Discord Server for further assistance, as users here will likely not be able to provide proper support.

One of the latest update of Calamity did make an update to the abyss, and with that the FPS got more killed than the usual, plus the Terraria itselft have problems with FPS from the start, and Calamity mod is already a mod who kills fps a lot.

Like Aeterna say. U can't solve this, just live with that while u play the mod.
