Calamity Class Tier list

Hello, im about to play calamity, but i need recomendation and tips on classes. Pros and cons in short :)

melee:good but overrated.
mage:really good but underrated.
ranger:awful
summoner:crowd control
rogue:mid
classless:GOD TIER.

Melee: Good for defense but dies so easily and hard to kill bosses that retreat
Ranger: Good for range but almost no damage and constant worry for ammo
Mage: Good damage and range but annoying for mana potions
Summoner: Good damage but like zero defense
Rogue: Great range most of the time but annoying for restocking weapons if needed

ranger literally has 2 good weapons out of the entire game with the tyrannys end fighting exos and phangasm vs yharon the rest is abysmally bad

Ranger is awful??!?!?

Ranger was great 4 years ago, then the draedon update struct and ruined everything, every good weapon got nerfed into the ground along with most accesories, 2024 the meta for scal is magnomaly cannon (it was the worst exo weapon in 2019, now its the best because everything else is garbage with no damage or blinds you)

I was really confused by this post but I re-checked my modlist turns out I have +10 submods that make all the classes actually viable so that explains a lot. Turns out Camility summoners dont even get whips?`!
