acid rain event not working

so i just killed polterghast and the acid rain event didnt start and when i try and use a caustic tear to force the event to start it would start and then immediately give the notif in the chat that the sulphorous skys begun to clear i tried everything in my power to try and fix it but i dont know what else i can do

so update it must be an issue with my world because i just went into another world and started an acid rain event and it worked idk if that will help but that is all i know

you can go to another world where u beat polterghast

and do the event there

Have you tried just waiting or skipping until the next dawn and tried again?

It has to be no other event going on like it can't be raining if you use caustic tear

It worked when I cleared the rain

That happened to me to

[homing pigeon]

If you're having an issue trying to spawn the acid rain on multiplayer try letting the host be the one to use the caustic tear, fixed it for us.
