My autoswing randomly stops

I could be just swinging a sword or anything like this, and after some time it will just stop by itself (I didn't let off the Mouse1 button), it doesn't seem like it's a problem of any mod, but rather Modloader itself. any other game has no such issue, original terraria has no such problem as well. (And my mouse is completely good)
What's even more annoying it ususally stops autoswing near the player, and it turns building or mining into a hell.
I literally cannot play with this glitch, I tried restarting Modloader and it never worked. And I can't seem to find anyone with the same problem.
I would appreciate getting help with solving this.

Old post, but did you ever get a fix for this? Having the same issue my self now... Super annoying.

For me calamity was the problem. Basically there is a bar that pops up when you are in toxic water of one of the oceans. Make sure in your settings bars like this are fixed in place and cannot be moved. Since I couldn't see the bar most of the time (because I was not in toxic water) that was really confusing. But basically the problem is that at some point your cursor will stumble across that bar and start dragging it around, instead of continuing to swing or whatever. Hope this helps
