Is anyone else's multiplayer calamity broken ever since the new update?

Ever since calamity,calamity mod music and calamity infernium mod have been updated my game has been completely broken on multiplayer. Me and my mate can get into the server and try to play but nothing works we try using cosmolights and they don't change the time of day until 4 hours have passed in game and we cant summon some of the bosses on it. Some of the bosses we can summon are extremely glitchy and keep teleporting all over the screen.
I noticed its any of the old calamity characters before the update that are broken but I don't want to have to restart my save on a new character I just wanna be able to play on my old characters.
Me and my mate have both verified the files restarted our games and computers and uninstalled and reinstalled Tmodloader and Terraria and None of these have fixed the problem.
I know its something because of the update for calamity so I might just have to wait until they update it again to fix the problem. But if anyone knows any fixes please tell me.

One thing I have found out in multiplayer is that if you take out a dash item that you have equipped your able to use the cosmolight and nothing else really glitches but any of the dashing type of items make this bug happen I found out so you might have to play without a dash which makes the game pretty unplayable
