Calamity - Rage and Adrenaline mode not activating

As I said in the title the game is not letting me use rage and adrenaline mode even though other players can, to me, it just plays the sound and effect of them but the bar stays at 100% without actually activating, any ideas?

You have to set a keybind for them in settings

I found the solution, but you have to turn it to death mode
