Calamity 2.0: Charred Ore?

So I can't seem to find Charred Ore in the Brimstone Crag biome. That's where he wiki says it should be, but a lot of info on said wiki is out-of-date. Any insight?

Mine under the houses or use spelunker potions

Are you in hardmode? It won't spawn until you are. Also, the brimstone elemental has to be defeated for it to generate.

I was able to find it. And I obtained it before killing the Brimstone Elemental, as you actually need the Charred Ore to fight the Elemental.
