Invincible King Slime!?

I just started a new world on the tmodloader in calamity mod with some extra mods like DawnMOD:Dormant, The Stars Above, Hero's Mod, Fargo's, Advanced World Generation, and some quality of life mods as well as some visual mods. I beat the Eye, Eater of Worlds, Skeletron, and Wall of Flesh just fine, but when it comes to the King Slime, whenever his health is supposed to go down to 0, for some reason his hp just resets to 100hp. and it's not like he heals or anything. There's no number appearing that he's been healed. Is this just a bug due to one of my mods? I haven't seen anything about this on the internet yet...

do you have any modded difficulty modes (revengeance, eternity...) enabled? if so, make sure difficulties from different mods aren't enabled at the same time, because it can cause weird overlaps like ai conflicts

I haven't enabled revengeance mode since it's my first time in calamity for now... but I'll take what you said into account and try disabling some of the gameplay mods that might overlap. I'll update to see what works when I've tried it. Thanks for the insight!

I've found its from the DawnMOD:Dormant which is a shame because its a cool mod but I just can't kill king slime while I have it on. That being said I haven't found a solution to this.

Ok well I just found the fix, you have to turn off Boss Animation in the DawnMOD:Dormant mod configuration in game.

Hey guys! sorry for the late update. yea it turns out the Boss Animation in the DawnMod was the problem.

i turned off boss anim, but it didn't help. if i'll turn off the mod, will it work?

For me I have a similar issue except I can't damage king slime AT ALL. He's just, there. For whatever weird reason my king slime is just immortal. I tried simply waiting for the immortality to hopefully end but it didn't.
