Is it possible to fish up crates with mythril in them before first mech in calamity?

Help, i am trying to route a minimum boss run of calamity, and i want to know if you can skip a mech boss by fishing up mythril in crates? (im doing this with default settings, dont tell me to disable rework)

Unfortunately, you would have to kill at least 1 boss to get mithril from crates, with the default settings.

Although if you have other mods that add special crates, like thorium and the such, you can get mithril from those crates.
