calamity mod respawn timer is only 3 seconds

for some reason when playing calamity mod my respawn time is only 3 seconds i checked my mods and disabled them one by one so i know that it is calamity mod how do i fix it to be the normal time?

I think its in mod configuration. Just go to settings it should be there, but I have to wonder why do you wanna get rid of this?

i already looked and cannot find it also it would mean that bosses wouldnt despawn meaning that i could fight any boss at any point of gameplay and win due to essentially infinite respawns

to my understanding this is a calamity change.

when dying during a bossfight you get a normal respawn timer until the boss despawns and then its replaced with the 3 second timer. makes respawning faster and doesnt allow you to cheese bosses
