Transferring Character to Vanilla

I've tried googling but I couldn't really find anything. Is it possible to transfer a character from tModLoader to Vanilla? I haven't used any mods besides QOL.

In theory, just move the name.plr file from tModLoader\Players to Terraria\Players.

Although there was already a similar question, it was also said about using only QOL mods, but things continued to disappear during the transfer
