Has anyone get this to work on the Steam Deck?

I'm trying to get this game running on my Steam Deck and i'm running into an issue where the game won't even launch. I can get the command line saying its installing files and I have everything but then it hangs at the valve logo when the game goes to load. Changing to desktop mode and nothing happens at all.

is there a proton version I have to use or trick to get tmodloader to launch? Confused and not sure what to do. Normal Terraria loads perfectly and other games load instantly too. I tried changing to proton experimental and proton 7.0-2 and nothing. Also tried to changing to desktop mode but that does practically nothing.

Help?

Check on ProtonDB app 1281930. There are guides, people install mono or try alternative solutions.
