Turn off reactive keyboard lighting
In vanilla I can turn off the lighting by just messing with config files, but for modded I cant seem to find the right files to mess with. I have also looked in the steelseries engine to try and find a way to turn it off. Does anyone have a solution for turning it off because it is kind of annoying when the lights on my keys dull and I cant find the right ones.

did you ever find a solution for this? i really need help with this as well. When i tried deleting the file that runs the adaptive keyboard stuff, it doesn't start. as if that one file is ESSENTIAL to the game starting. its really annoying

Found it! Go into SteelSeries GG, go to Engine, and under APPS, switch Terraria to OFF

sorry to necro post but i need help with this too, logitech keyboard and no im not disabling "allow games & applications to control illumination" because i use a rgb program called aurora that uses it
