Whats Better Statigel Or Molten Armor?

Hello, so i was wondering what is better, Statigel or Molten Armor?

molten armour is melee only while statigel provides overall class bonuses depending on what headgear you have Statigel>molten

i personally prefer statigel

statigel is an all class armor so unless your planning to melee wof then that kinda awnsers your question (unless you really care about an extra ammount of def which is not worth)

and a reason to use statigel anyways is your playing a modded run you may aswell use everything the mod provides for your class (if possible) and take on all the modded bosses

statigel is literally an upgrade from molten armour tho

maybe not if your melee? yet again i have never touched melee in calamity and almost didnt with terraria 1.4 so i cant really say xD

As melee i found stat is better than anything until you get Hallow armor.
