Calamity rogue question

is the rogue armor good outside the small damage increase, at least pre hard mode, because the stealth strikes seem not useful so far and was thinking of just going with metroid armor with some rogue items something like that since the damage increase didn't seem that good with regular rogue armor

It really depends in my experience. Rogue armour on its own may not do that much with stealth strikes, but combine it with a couple of rogue accessories boosting stealth strikes (both damage wise and stealth generation) and you can get some SERIOUS damage out of it (like taking out 40% HP on the aquatic scourge with a single stealth strike from the totality breakers).

If you time the stealth strikes with adrenaline, then some rogue weapons can take down bosses in 1 to 2 hits.

not playing on the mode with adrenaline, also I'm talking mostly about prehard mode where the damage isn't that great
