if that doesn't work, my next best advice would be go into your mods folder (by default my documents > my games > terraria > modloader > mods) delete fargo's soul mod there, then re-download it from the mod browser in game.
if somehow that still doesn't work do the same to terraria itself (default path I forget cause I use a custom install path...but it's something like users > programs > steam > steamapps > common > terraria, once you get to the correct folder, delete ALL files inside it, not just the .exe). once that's done, open steam, find and right click terraria in your steam library, go to properties, and verify integrity of files (which should find nothing and proceed to download a clean install of the game, since you just deleted it)
