Old One's Army won't load for me.

When I try to start the event, I get a chat message and progress bar about the event starting. The portals don't spawn. Interestingly, I do get the debuff but if I go too far it disappears and reappears if I get close again. The crystal does still have health and the event ends when it gets to 0.

I've tried disabling all mods without success. I've verified integrity of game files multiple times for both tmodloader and terraria.

I've tried deleting the mygames terraria folder, and uninstalling and reinstalling both tmodloader and terraria at the same time. Then making a new character and world with only cheat sheet installed and enabled to give myself the stand and eternity crystal. The same thing always happens.

I've looked online but nobody seems to have the same issue as me.

I've tried everything I can think of but nothing's working. Every other event works fine, it's just this that doesn't work out. Please help me.

Is anything obstructing where the portals would spawn? Try making a huge arena abouve the ground. Also, you can make an arena that’s too small. The portals have to spawn offscreen, or your arena is just the right size, it’ll summon, but the portals would be just barely on screen, so they wouldn’t generate. Make a bigger arena, and maybe up in the air?

Nah it's flat ground for a long way. When it was working about a week ago the portals were working just fine in the same spot. It's just now they won't spawn at all. It'll also tell you if the arena is too small when you try to start it.

There’s this sweet spot if it’s exactly within 1 blocks length that it’ll bug the portals at, they patched it in 1.4, just try adding a few blocks.
