also pre hm summoner in 1.4 is actually better even with less weapons, because the weapons have more thought put into them then the, its a dagger but it homes in, some of the best rogue weapons are the most unique ones, Pwnage hammer is the best pre moonlord weapon and it is also the most fun to use, malachite may be better but by then the pwnage hammer does more dammage to the boss malachite would be used agaisnt, and it is the only boss in which the Pwwnage hammer is actually over powered, however most pre moonlord bosses are single target type enemies, makeing hte pwnnage hammer an imbarresment for being better then any weapon until you are ready to fight astrum deus, NO destroyer doesnt count cause you need to defeat it to get the pwnnage hammer and malachite is when you before you fight astrum deus
Also, WHY WOULD IT NEED TO BE NERFED, even when you stand still and do perfect rogue stealth attacks with critical hits everytime, and then you dont get hit, it maybe then can catch up to melee in dps, MELEE, if you have menacing then you can maybe get past summoner, but if it was nerfed it wouldn't be usable
the recommended post golem weapon does an average of 200- 800 dps while other clases are almost double its max damage, (im talking about doing the best you could with the weapon with accessories and armour for that tier and if the stealth strike does more dps or not overall) even if i didnt do the exact science, which i shouldnt have to perfect the rogue to do average dps, that is why it is a bad class, you HAVE to play well and know the bosses, next, everyother class has better and more unique weapons, it would have been fun to play a class that is quick with low defence and slow attack, but really high dps overall, take the wave pounder it is what i want in a weapon for rogue despite its low dps single target it is amazing against groups, and is visually amazing
most weaponst are just a thrown object plus hmoing or special effect you don't get to see because you spamm it, another idea is a reliance on using multiple weapons and switching them up for bossess, example a far range weapon with little damage, close range with high and a homing weapon with medium range and damage, and
it does less damage then any other class until you defeat calamitas or in specific situations like pwnnage hammer on astrum deus, but it is such a generally bad class with a reliance on standing still instead what what it is based on, rogues, they do hide but they are also able to move fast and in many diriction, it should be based on moving fast and hitting close, or behind an enemy, or exploiting a weakness but they cant take a hit too well, like summoner and mage, but it would have high single target damage, making it bad on worm (for some reason it is only good agaistn worm bossess) and bosses with multiple areas it needs to be hit from but they could bypass armour easier with high single hit attacks and maybe having powerful first hit to start a fight better
i want them to focus on exploiting weakness like a rogue does, not standing still and turning invisible to gain a super magical attack that wasn't worth losing half your health
rouge is bad and i hate that i put myself through playing it on death mode
