How to allocate more memory to tmodloader?

Trying to play with thorium, calamity, overhaul, plus many small mods however, it runs out of memory when creating the world. I have 32 gb of ram so how do I allocate more to this game?

You don't because its 32 bit and therefore, is limited to the 4GB of RAM. So you need to use less mods. In particular, less big mods. There is an unofficial 64-bit version of tModLoader, but I'm not sure it still works. Someone else will have to answer that one for you.

you have to wait till it get implemented here aswell, that was already stated in the initial release of the steam version of tmodloader , that the 64bit version will be adapted

One thing you can try that helped me is to disable some of your mods, it clutters he game files. It helped me so maybe it will help you :)

how is this done? i tried before but could not work it out :/

I have downloaded the 64 bit version and its amazing! It fixed all of my issues. There is a discord server and you just need to ask someone on the tmodloader discord to link it. There is a command but i forgot what it is.
