How to install and can I still play TML without Steam?

With tModLoader coming to Steam officially, you now have the option to use tModLoader through Steam directly.

What does this mean exactly?
You can find tModLoader in the Steam Store like any other game, such as Terraria, and install it as if it was a game.

You will need to own Terraria to install tModLoader on Steam, for tModLoader to work you will also need to have Terraria installed.

Am I required to use Steam now?
No, tModLoader will still work regardless of platform, supports Steam & Good old Games, and works on Windows, Mac and Linux. Our manual installation instructions can be found in the guide for players[github.com] on Github.
