This might be the worst thing I have watched/played
First of let me get started by saying that it is 2022 and by now we have all figured out that invading Iraq wasn't a good decision and there were no weapons of mass destruction /chemical weapons there. I have been told it was wrong for over 15 years now and I am just sick and tired of this pointless anti-american propaganda crap. So many movies and other video games and documentaries have touched on this subject that it was played to death.
Second grape I have is with the characters who are among the blandest group of individuals to ever be written for any piece of entertainment. You got Johnny Cage rip off commander who is stupid, arogant and pointless and adds no real value to absolutely any conversation or anything. You got a random black guy that is in the game for diversity and absolutely no other reason cause his whole entire backstory is that he is sleeping with the commander's estranged wife but halfway through the game that thing isn't even brought up between the three of them to have a conflict and then I got the commander killed so the black guy's backstory is shot too and he is now 100% useless.
Then I have massive issues with the choices I make and the dialogue that comes out of them. Like for instance-I choose to comment on the september 11 attacks and all of a sudden that turns into a racist rant and the black guy takes offense cause now he thinks I am a racist scum and that whole rant came out of nowhere. Like the devs think that any time you mention people attacking the twin towers-than you mut be a glorified racist or something,so now we can't even mention history. Also the choices even with the premunitons that could help indicate what is going to happen to characters also don't feel completely helpful. I have no idea how far ahead this vision of the future are warning me about so it makes my choices in the game more difficult then easy and I feel like I tried my darnest to avoid someone dying yet they bit the dust anyway which makes me question if you can actually save everyone or not? I haven't played a game from these devs before and I think you can actually save everyone perhaps but I am wondering out how and I sure as hell won't be replaying the same story 5 times to figure it out. Also I can't quite feel bad at all about anyone in the game dying cause as I mentioned earlier I couldn't care about any of them at all cause they are so boring and terrible written.
Also I could see the plot twist with the characters turning into evil zombies way before that thing was even revelaed to me. That was like the most easy thing to predict about this game and also halfway though the game the deamons aren't even that scary anymore knowing you can defeat them and it isn't even that hard so it takes the edge of the entire game.

Also does anyone get those camera bugs where when you are trying to explore and the camera freezes in a certain direction and you can't look away until you move a little. So annoying that happened to me so many times.

Thanks for your "Novel" and Wall of text which I'm pretty sure most people aren't even going to bother reading. Also pretty sure most people don't care about what you think about the game anyway. The Majority of people who bought the game have Enjoyed playing it. I'm Actually on my Third play thru and a Lot of people have played it right thru more than once.

Game is boring as ♥♥♥♥. Two and a half hours of wading through ♥♥♥♥♥♥ dialog. Definitely not enjoying it. Uninstalled.

Well, then you're missing out on a great game then. You gotta love a game that at least sets up a narrative before it gets messy. I presume you gave up on RDR 2 as well???

Virtue signaling is strong in this one.
If you cannot discern real life from a game, you need to see a therapist, mate. I'm serious, btw, this can be an issue later in life.

But the game is rather boring compared to, say, the first one, I'll give you that. And too over the top (for my taste). But dayum these people can direct visuals!

You find the game boring and over the top at the same time? Can you explain? I've considered getting the game but don't know much about it. Genuinely curious.

Ignore him - I remember getting the game through a sale, and it provided me with many hours of playtime and the graphics were quite stunning and the performance was beautiful (on a RTX 3080). I enjoyed it on its own without playing the others... but I enjoy games that have an incredible spider web of actions and consequences.

Is there a plan for publishing the topic as an audio-book ?

Never started it. Neither of the Red Dead games interested me in the first place. :-)

Nothing wrong with setting up a narrative, but after 2 and a half hours, you shouldn't still be setting up your narrative. :-)

I enjoyed the Medan game, the faces didn't look as weird, and the game moved along at a reasonable pace. I'm an old man, I've played a lot of games, read many many books, and watched many many movies. At my age I don't have any patience for a bad story that takes itself seriously. If you are going to put together a story with dumb dialog and crap-acting, better make it a comedy that pokes fun at itself. If the story is meant to be taken seriously, it should be worth it. This one is not.

So it tries my patience. That coupled with the fact that I am supposed to watch uninteresting drivel for long stretches of time, and then suddenly whack a key to affect what happens, ugh. No thanks.
I think you're seeing things there that aren't there. Taking the perspective of a war is pretty common in literature and games, and 15 years makes it a fairly old war by this point. Its a set piece to make choices. If you don't like the set piece, that's fine, but ranting as if its some lecture or moralizing is YOUR bias, not the game's intent.

The rest is just opinion, which is fine. Choose your own adventure games aren't for everyone.

Am I the only one who didn't bother to read this guy's post? Like...he really believes we'll bandwagon with him, doesn't he?

Op, do us a favor and shut the living hell up. Go read a book or something, take a break from your life and come back to reality please.
