Why no achievements?
It's a fairly recent game so.. why not?

Recent nothing. Overlord 2 came out in '09.

if memory serves, both Overlord games were console exclusives later ported to PC via Steam. I had Overlord (first one) on Xbox360 and I'm pretty sure there were a few achievements for the 360. Kind of like the first Assassins Creed, it had achievements on the 360 but when it was ported to PC years later there was nada.

That's only 6 years old... Not that old at all. Fallout 3 is older.
