Don't count on these dates. Todd has made many changes to the build so far this year. My prediction for a demo, if that's a thing, would be Q1 2024.

While I too hope for more information and a release in the near future (this grabbed my interest ahead of HW3's 2022 planned release date) its still showing activity and work. Keep up the good work!

That said, Devs please please please be cognizant of scope creep. It's tempting to get everything you want included before release but be careful of becoming another Starcommand Galaxies. ...or on the other end, Sword of the Stars II.

Well that is unfortunate. When I see companies bring games to Early Access, It is extremely rare see the game completed within another year and in a good place at official release (not Early Access launch).

Steam Next Fest starts in a couple of days. Are you planning on releasing a limited demo of the game during this time or has planned expectations changed?

Early access could be a good model for the devs here to get some cash in and continue to develop the game in way akin to Hades or BG3.

I don't know. The game was supposed to release early this year and now it seems almost certain to go into 2024. An entire year of extra development and it's going to release into early access? That does not seem to invoke much confidence in the game. I'll keep it on my wish list for a while longer but I have seen this movie before and it never ends well.

I may be thinking about another game But I thought the older delays where because the game was picked up by a publisher. But as far as not dropping in 2023 I'm not sure I understand as the last video I watched months back looked rather complete unless it was stitched together footage. If you keep your community up to speed all the time you won't run into this limbo of potential customers losing confidence.
