Where can I find some Live 2D avatars to use
This software looks amazing, but I have no Idea where I can find any avatars to use. Is there a website or wiki I can refer to? I've seen people recommend looking through Facerig's workshop, but I have no Idea how to use their models given that I don't own Facerig. Any help or suggestions would be deeply appreciated.

I borrowed mine from the Steam Workshop for Facerig. What you'll have to do is to (obviously, have Facerig to begin with) and find the workshop mods in your steamapps folder, and copy and paste those into the appropriate folder for PrPrLive. Keep in mind that PrPrLive only likes Cubism Version 3 Live 2D avatars, however.

The official Live2D website also has some free characters you can use.

Is there a place to craft models for free? Live 2D is subscription based so that not only makes it a waste of money if I have to keep paying for it all the time instead of just once, but I cannot afford it anyway. I also know nothing about 3D modelling, so character creator based interfaces are the best I can hope for. A pity too as I have a good idea for a model to use, but no way to translate it from a sloppy photoshop of two different game characters (as it current exists as) to a proper avatar.

Live2D has Free version though. It's sufficient to use as long you are not making complicated models which is unlikely if it's your first time using anyway.

Good to know, thanks. I should take a look at the free version. 👍
