Realm of Heroes - Version 3 is Available Now

* Track the Game Score for both Winning and Losing High Score.

Game Score now reflects the number of units captured.

It is not enough to win the game. Try to achieve the highest score.

* Play the game as a Historical Leader.

Choose a Leader for you and the computer players from 12 historical leader images.

Also, make new leaders from the historical leader image using your name.

* Three skill levels for the computer: Novice, Skilled and Expert.

Novice: Doesn't always make the best move. Start playing against 3 Novice Computer players to learn the game.

Skilled: Should be able to win against a Skilled computer player but it is not easy.

Expert: Very hard to win against 3 Expert Computer players.

Improved computer logic makes winning against Expert players even harder.

* Expanded Book of Knowledge to include more topics and descriptions.

Question mark (?) on the Title Panel allows direct access to the panel's how-to-use description.

Feature requests

First, a quick reset map and a quick restart map. On two games with random maps and 4 players, I had starts that seemed impossible to recover from. On a third, I screwed up reading the game state but, thought the map was interesting and wanted a second attempt with the same map. While it's easy to just create a new game, you have to go through the whole restart map setting. Second, this game is hard on random map with 4 players, even with novice settings. I keep getting wiped out in about 4-5 turns....

Possible bug in the demo

If I play a match, and then I play again, at the beginning of the second match, on my first turn, there is always something that goes wrong and I can't play further: I can't select any piece, or upgrade one and it's impossible to play. I tried some times, and was never able to play a second match. (Note: The demo is still playable, I must exit the program and reopen it to play again. And this is an interesting game)....
