I really wish the original plan to release it early this year hadn't fallen through, like you have done here we can assume the outcome of the game based on revealed skins, this all feels like they wanted to launch the game several months ago, us play it and see the heroes fail and get corrupted, then months later do the sentinels of light event with their new skins, but at this rate the game is going to release long after we know the outcome of the big ruination event since they aren't even giving us news

I actually don't think the game will show Miss Fortune being possessed or Pyke becoming a sentinel. Rioters have said they worked with AirSyn/Riot Forge to ensure that the sentinel event would not spoil what happens in the game, so if we know that MF is ruined and Pyke is sentinel, then that must happen after the events of the game.

Ruined King was originally supposed to be content gap between season start and the sentinel event. Let's say it meant to drop around March-April, I don't think they would have revealed Ruined Miss Fortune until right before the event anyway. I'm thinking the game will have a more ambiguous ending that leaves the players guessing as to what happened, and then, had the game come out on time, it would have led into the sentinel event picking up some time later.

watch the announcement trailer to the end. it literally says early 2021.

The original announcements clearly said early 2021. However, in December 2020 they announced the game would be delayed. Even the announcement acknowledges they originally wanted to release "early 2021."

yeah you are right. probably I read only the second one so that's why I was pretty sure it is not due in the first half. I am not concerned about its release I am concerned about the lack of news. No pictures no info no gameplay no nothing. WHat are they gonna do? just release the game ? I don't think so. they need to build some hype.

Yeah I feel the same. I'm sure AirSyn already feels bad they couldn't deliver the game on time, and I don't really put the full blame on them for that, what with the pandemic, and the winter storms earlier in the year. Their studio is based in Texas, and the state got hit hard with those winter storms and the power grids going down and stuff. It's really unfortunate but sometimes stuff just happens.

The fact neither AirSyn nor Riot Forge has been updating anyone with what's going on though, that's undeniably unexcusable. It's been complete radio silence since December, and while I still plan to pick up the game, the silence has dampened my enthusiasm quite a bit. Just like... tell us what's going on, yknow? Especially if the leaks are true and the game really did get delayed again from a supposed release this month.

(There was a gameplay trailer though, it's pretty much identical to Battle Chasers, but you will get to move around the environments as a whole, and not just in dungeons like BC did)

I found on reddit a post of one of the devs from a few days ago. he said news are incoming VERY SOON. so.....not long now.

it's actually a tweet in spanish on one of the devs' twitter page from 21st of july if I am not mistaken but because I saw it on reddit I thought it was on reddit. you could have searched yourself instead of waiting for my reply.
