Yeah that doesn't sound like a bad machine and we've tested on much worse without stuttering. Try setting an FPS limit to see if it helps or tweaking other settings? It could be background programs interfering so also look outside of our game for possible culprits.
Yeah, the worst thing about it is that it usually completely messes up the camera. If I'm moving the camera a little when the freeze starts, I'm usually looking in the opposite direction when the freeze ends. So basically if this happens when you're being chased by Anna it means you're dead.
Btw, I don't know if this is relevant, but I should probably mention that collisions were on.
I have a much stronger desktop PC now, so the game runs flawlessly.
