What the bloody hell is?
the differences in difficulty? Looking this up I see friggin ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nothing!:nkMad: What are differences to when it came out? It it balanced now? Apparently they improved it at some point? When? Something so simple shouldn't be so hard to find.

The game like Against the Storm in a way? In that you just start and go until X point? and then new map and start again? Campaign has route options? Just picking north south kind of thing?? Difficulty affects waves? spawns? just starting units and resources? is it still a micro managing... chore? Reviews are kinda all over in certain aspects.

Looks way way less TD and much more just a survival type game

I just started playing and only have 6 hours in. The campaign is linear, there is one fork in the road that I've come across so far where you can kinda alter how the campaign is played in a small way. One path is easier, the other is more difficult. But yes, it plays like age of empires or any kind of strategy game in the campaign, you get resources, build population, make an army, manage resources, upgrade buildings, research tech and complete the objectives for the win. Stuff like that while battling waves of enemies every couple days or so in game.

From here I'm just speculating, but there is a sandbox mode and and endless mode, which is pretty self explanatory. Both of those modes from what I looked into them play as a skirmish type game mode. You pick what type of enemies are in the map, pick the map biome type and that's pretty much all I remember. You can tweak it a little more than that but I didn't get into any of it to check it out.

There is four different path for the campaign, the story is similar but you'll have different mission, they will have similarities in some way though, some mission will be the same as well, it's not a tower defense game, it's very much a base survival game like they are billions, There is at least 3 factions in the campaign you can play as, one is very different from other, then there is the normal one(only one that has the research feature unfortunately :( ) and another one that has it's own unit you can make
