The Story Branches are Very Cool, but Uninspiring
Having just started the campaign recently, I was very interested when I saw the option to switch sides to play as the rebels. My expectations for story branches in games like this would be choosing enemies, or levels, or difficulty, but this was exciting. Think, an entirely new faction to play!

But I didn't get that. The rebels use the exact same troops as the normal faction. Other than some starting units, quite literally nothing changes about the tools at your disposal. The Sarangga are a bit better, with a new barracks to produce units, but equally disappointing.

I know it represents a huge amount of work, but even just reskins of the existing buildings would do so much to bring life into those routes and make me feel so much more connected to the factions I have chosen to join. Small gameplay differences could make it even better, or at the very least add some upgrades unique to them.

I mean, ultimately I would love a more complete rework. I have plenty of ideas for how to differentiate the factions, but I am not going to just throw out entire ideas as I am sure the devs have a thousand of their own and I don't know what limitations they work under. Still, something added to give these campaigns life would do wonders.

(But for the record, rebels only get wooden walls and focus on masses of troops. Sarangga get an extra "ancient" upgrade level. Both factions get their own troops trees with rebels focusing on area buffs and weak units and Sarangga focusing on supporting champions and using ranged attacks.)
