You have to master the Wooden challenge and Outnumbered but not Outgunned challenge and maybe a few more to stand a chance.
Tips:
- The map has a crazy amount of berries, and granaries no longer cost stone. You only have to put the granaries next to the berries, not the huts. Place the huts wherever you like. You can tell the berry pickers where to work and even adjust their work radius. They don't have to walk to their huts to process the food.
- Build as many houses as you can, if you have free wood available, SPEND IT. Either more houses, more barracks, more walls, or research.
- extract as much wood from you surroundings as quickly as possible. Both the storage and the lumbermill need to be close to forests. Make sure their storage doesn't fill up by placing more storage, or by spending the wood
- Build multiple barracks around the map, since you cant mobilize your army to defend every wall as fast as possible. The barracks also lets you mount archers now. And it allows you to train a lot of archers all at once
- try to find a stone resource and focus your army on that. Getting stone, you can upgrade your archers and your townhall. Get the marketplace and trade for either gold or iron. The gold will just be for the marketplace upgrades. The iron can be spent on crossbowmen and building farms. (At this point, the berries aren't enough)
- if you take too many losses in the early game, it might already be gg. Your economy most likely wont recover because you're given no time to grow again. At this point, I believe its better to restart. You might be able survive a little longer but you won't be able to catch up (in my opinion)
Sisyphus made good tips already, but to add my perceptions:
The start area has an unusual bigger "safe zone" cleared of enemies in comparison to other maps, so expand as fast as you can.
You need to grow pop extremely fast to have a chance, use the Sisyphus strategy to get all berries and spam houses, it is surprisingly how well the berries can sustain pop until you have farms.
The map is big, so use observation towers to find possible choke points between mountains asap, push to get the spot clear of enemies, spam walls, towers and traps, and have a barracks nearby.
If someone survives to day 30 + please tell us your strategy :D

Yes,it is "under pressure" map.
Reload is only way to survive. You must know where enemy will come from. Can this game be added to hardcore mode??
- 1st to 20th day
You must as quick as possible to upgrade Townhall to level 3. I upgraded to level 3 around the 20th day.And I only use Archers and some Massive Guard Towers to defend the enemy. So I can save Stone and Iron. At same time, my population will reach 600-700. The population is very important. You must have enough Archers to defend enemy.
- After 20th day
Build more Foresters' Cabin. I exchange Wood for other resources. Keep the market running at all times. Then prioritize resources for training Trebuchet. Then build more Massive Tower and training more Archers or Crossbowmans.
Sorry... My English is poor.
Excellent, on my games i normally avoid save and load too much the game, but it seems this map is asking for it, thanks !
Exactly how i like my castle to look.
