Both it's little CPU and GPU fans go crazy. Temps are fine most of the time for the GPU, but the CPU has spikes up to 90.
AMD Ryzen 7 4800H + GeForce RTX 3060 - High settings on 1920x1080
Hope they keep improving that. There's an inherit expectation when a game comes along with such a low poly style. Putting the GPU on freezer mode while frying the CPU should not be it ^^
Anyway with this i was able to play challenges and endless mode without any gpu take offs.
I wouldn't call completely gimping the graphics a "fix"...
It's not that I don't know how to enforce an FPS cap. It simply doesn't change the behaviour.
i see such threads often. i never have such issues.
Setting the video options to the generic Ultra settings, the GPU is now at 50%.
I don't know if the game has been updated since August (I'd think using a 2080 super ought to be able to run this game just fine on high at least), but I'd recommend using the base low, med, high, ultra settings vs custom. That fixed the 100% gpu usage for me.
